SYSTEMS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST

Location: Merrifield, VA Full/Part: 40 hours

Duties: Senior systems engineer to lead deployment planning and execution for CAP/EDW
Release 1. Duties include: (1) develop and execute plans for CAP deployment activities working with IRS and contractor stakeholders (2) develop systems operations support documentation and training materials (3) developTransition to Support plans and facilitate adoption by IRS stakeholders of support roles and responsibilities (4) plan and execute security certification processes (5) plan and implement operations support activities for Release 1 and (6) function as Team Lead for Deployment Team tasks .

Mandatory: Proven performer as a working team lead covering engineering analysis, technical issue resolution, interface with IT client staff, and hands-on guidance to team members. Successful track record deploying large scale systems in a multi-site, multi-tier environment. Prior experience involving: DB2, Oracle/Unix, Business Objects, Informatica or similar COTS products, SQL, JCL. Excellent group facilitation and communication skills. Proven ability to perform in a dynamic team environment with client and contractor participants. Experience transitioning large-scale applications from development to maintenance phases of the system development lifecycle.

Desired: Prior experience implementing and maintaining a financial data warehouse. Experience
with IRS system support environment. System security assessment and certification experience. Significant experience at SEI software CMM level 3 or above. Experience developing technical training materials and delivery of training using train-the-trainer

Experience: At least 6 years experience

Education: Bachelors degree in a related field

Major or Field of Special: All candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Selected candidates may be subject to, and therefore must comply with all applicable U.S. export control regulations.
